Collaborating with PT. Megasetia, Pharmacy Study Program, FMIPA Pakuan University held a Guest Lecture with the theme "Basic Knowledge about Biocides and Preservatives and Their Application in the Cosmetics Field."

Lecturer in Cosmetology, Pharmacy Study Program, Apt. Mindiya Fatmi, S. Farm., and Apt. Asri Wulandari, M.Farm., with support from Apt. Dra. Dwi Indriati, M.Farm., held a Guest Lecture with two prominent speakers from the cosmetics industry. They are Margianto, S.Si., Microbiology Laboratory Manager PT. IMCD Indonesia, and Leli Suryani Tobing, ISCA SEA Development Manager. This activity took place  in the FMIPA Hall, Floor 4, and held on October 29 2024.

Participants gain an understanding of preservatives and biocides, including their application in the cosmetics industry, in this guest lecture. It is hoped that this session will increase the knowledge of lecturers and students about safety standards and product innovation in the increasingly developing cosmetics sector.

With this activity, the Pharmacy Study Program hopes can increase participants' academic and practical knowledge about the ingredients used to maintain the quality and safety of cosmetic products. As the only study program at FMIPA that focuses on medicine and cosmetics, the Pharmacy Study Program is expected to continue to be a pioneer of innovation that is relevant to the world of health and the pharmaceutical industry.

Pharmacy Study Program hope can further strengthen its contribution in building a generation of competent professionals in the health and cosmetics fields through similar activities in the future.
